Vaulty is a private subscription video platform designed to let users access creator-owned video content through a secure account and subscription system. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your email address, authentication information managed through Supabase, subscription status, payment-related identifiers from Stripe, video viewing progress, saved videos, likes, and basic usage data needed to operate the platform.

2. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Vaulty does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may collect and process billing details according to Stripe's own privacy and security policies.

3. Video and Usage Data

Vaulty may store watch progress, saved videos, liked videos, subscription access status, and other information needed to provide features such as Continue Watching, My List, and protected playback.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide access to subscribed content, process subscriptions, improve the app experience, protect content, and troubleshoot technical issues.

5. Third-Party Services

Vaulty may use third-party services including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, and Mux for video hosting, processing, playback, and streaming.

6. Data Security

We use access controls, authentication, row-level security where applicable, signed playback URLs, and trusted infrastructure providers to help protect user information and video content.

7. User Choices

Users may log out, manage their subscription through Stripe-supported flows, and contact support for account-related questions or data requests.

8. Children's Privacy

Vaulty is not intended for children under 13. Users should only access the service if they are legally able to create an account and use subscription services.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Vaulty grows. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
